E/1 4-4-4 Tank Engine (1996)
This model was based on the No.2 Tank Engine in the pre-war Hornby Series, which went out of production in 1929. The original models were available only with a clockwork mechanism but the E/1 locomotives by ACE Trains have 20v electric mechanisms with remote control in AC/DC. IS = in DC only with isolating switch.

* 44 of the E/1 series in Southern livery were given a very large range of factory produced names at the request of customers (1996/97). These were gold transfers and were said to be in homage to the SR River Class tanks. ** Some of the PLM version carried factory produced names on gold transfer nameplates.
E/2 4-4-2 Tank Engine (1997)
The E/2 series of locomotives were DC only and were fitted with a neutral switch allowing them to stand stationary on live track. They seem to have been based on a LNWR Whale 4-4-2T. 2 cab styles were available for this short lived series.

E/4 A4 4-6-2 (2002)
Purchasers choose their own names and numbers and all models were produced in 3-rail only. For the first three years the models were produced as AC/DC but, after that, as DC only. The loco body is pressure diecast and the tender is made from brass (corridor or non-corridor). The loco is fitted with matching twin 24v motors driving all axles and with an isolating switch. Working headlights and firebox glow. Single and double chimney versions available and the second batch had smaller lamps. By the start of 2005 the diecast body had been amended to improve lining band details on fully lined types such as BR and green LNER.
